Bring out your Novices! At Storvik Novice there will be lots of opportunities for our newer fencers to shine; to show off what they’ve learned and how they perform. In light of the Pandemic the cut off for what is deemed a Novice for this event is anyone who is authorized on or after January 2020.
Field Schedule
| 1000 | MoL Opens, inspections and authorizations begin |
| 1030 (or after authorizations finish) | Never Won a Tourney, Tourney: Double Elimination – All rapier fighters who have never won a tourney. |
| 1130 | Novice Tourney: Single Elimination – All rapier fighters who have authorized on or after Jan 2020. |
| 1230 – 1330 | Academie Business: Free Scholar Prize Fight! |
| 1330 – 1400 | Breaks and Bearpits: If the schedule is on track there will be one or more bear pits to enable fights until the next activity. |
| 1400 | Masters Hold the Field: Calling all Masters of Defense! Join the field so that all other rapier fighters can come bring their best and show you their mettle. 2 – 3 minutes of feedback is encouraged after passes are done (still be sure to ask first!). |
| 1500 | Blacksword Tournament: Standard double elimination tournament, all fighters encouraged to participate |
| 1600 | Field closes to prepare for Court |
This is a packed schedule, and I will be doing my absolute best to keep things running on time. So please help by being ready to go and present on the field for activities you are participating in!
