General A&S Activities
There will be an open A&S activities tent with refreshments.
Baron Paganus Akritas will host a poetry salon in the Marinus Baronial Pavilion.
Lord Glaukos Athenaios will be running a Beaker Culture cooking demo and discussion.
Additional Details for all three will be posted soon, please check back for more details as well as a general schedule of classes.
Any person who is displaying for the first time or attending their first event should come find Lady Lucy for a special welcome token.
The Challenge

The populace is invited to display all and sundry works of arts and sciences! Have you been working on your calligraphy since the Plague Times befell us? Are you a costuming Laurel who just learned how to make maille? From brand new faces to experienced hands trying new things, we want to see what you’ve been working on!
Entrants should choose the category below that best fits their SCA participation experience.
Documentation should consist of EITHER a 3×5 index card OR an EZ Doc sheet. EZ Docs may be downloaded here: http://www.larsdatter.com/ezdoc/ . Because this is a Challenge, there will be no formal judging process.
Category A: True Novice
This category is open to anyone who has joined the SCA no more than three years ago (since July 2019)
Category B: New Novice
This category is open to anyone who has been a member of the SCA for more than three years (prior to July 2019) but who has been practicing their displayed art/science for no more than a year (since July 2021)
Bonus Theme: My Persona Needs it Because…
Did your persona demand you make them this thing? Tell us why you decided to make this thing, and why your persona needs it so badly!
The Prizes
All entrants will receive a token for displaying. There will also be a Populace Choice prize for each category. One special prize will be given by Magistra Beatriz and Lady Lucy for the “Because my Persona Needs it…” story they find most entertaining.
